D. if you use the foil method and multiply it out you get 2x*5x = 10x^2, 2x*10 + 5x*5 = 45x and 5*10 = 50 add them up and you get 10x^2 + 45x + 50. (sorry if you saw my earlier answer)

Follow the FOIL method.

(2x + 5)(5x + 10)

FOIL = First, Outside, Inside, Last)

2x(5x) = 10x²
2x(10) = 20x
5(5x) = 25x
5(10) = 50

10x² + 20x + 25x + 50

Combine like terms

10x² (+20x + 25x) + 50

10x² + 45x + 50, or D) is your answer

hope this helps
