What effect does parental support have on sexual identity? What advice would you

give to parents who are not supportive of having a gay son?

When you have parents go don’t support your sexually you might become guilty or start hating yourself but if your parents are supportive you can begin to feel more comfortable in your sexuality


I would say that they shouldn’t force him to change or degrade him they should try and be supportive and set barriers they can also get a therapist so they can work something out if it’s that serious

A:The advice I would give them would be:Even though you are my parents, I can still make my own decisions and you can not decide everything for me. If I am gay, then I am gay. not everybody has to approve,only I do.
