The functions f(x) and g(x) are defined below.

f(x)= 21x^2 + 13x - 20
g(x)= -3x - 4
Which expression is equal to f(x) ÷ g(x)?

For this case we have the following polynomials:

f (x) = 21x ^ 2 + 13x - 20 g (x) = -3x - 4
To divide the polynomials we must follow the following steps:
1) Same base, the exponents are added.
2) Only terms that have the same exponent can be added or subtracted.
3) If the remainder is zero, the division is exact.
Answer:

f (x) / g (x) = -7x + 5
