Which two words in this passage point to the meaning of the word stokers? In the old days, ships ran on steam-powered engines. The engines were fed with coal by stokers. The Titanic had more than 150 of these firemen aboard to keep the ship’s engines at steam through day and night

With no options I can't really help that much but I can say a stoker is a person who feeds a fire with coal to keep a steam boat or train moving. So if there is an answer of engine's and feed/ fed That's the answer. A stoker feeds a engine coal by putting it into the fire at the furnace.

Overall Answer: Feed/ Fed and Engine
