the period is 7 because period = 2pi/b for asin(b(x-h))+k, so period is 2pi/(2pi/7) = 7

Answer:

Explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

The given equation of sin function is :
y=-2sin((2\pi )/(7)x )

The standard form of sin equation is :
asin(bx+c)

Comparing with standard one, a is -2

b is
(2\pi )/(7)

The period =
(2\pi)/(b)

Plugging the value of b then,

Period =
(2\pi)/((2\pi)/(7) ) =7

As 2π will be cancelled, the period will be 7. : Answer

Hope it will help :)
