So the equation would be 5 / 6 + 1 / 6 + 1 / 2.

Let's convert 1 / 2 to a fraction with a denominator of 6. That would be 3 / 6.

5 / 6 + 1 / 6 + 3 / 6 is 9 / 6. That equates to 1 1/2 hours, so your answer would be D.

if you add all the hours with the denominator of 6 you get 9/6 hours, which ultimately is 1 and a half hours of work, D.
