Remark
The easy way to do this is to add the odds together and divide this into the part of the odds which represents success. You will find other ways of doing this on the internet.

Develop the equation
P(success) = Successful part of odds / Total of the odds.
P(2) = 2 /(2 + 8) = 2/10
P(2) = 1/5

The probability of getting a winning ticket is 1/5. <<<< Answer.
