Hello!

To calculate the area of the triangle, you use the formula A=0.5bh. We will plug this into the numbers to get our answer.
19/12·13/7=247/84. We can get half of this by multiplying the denominator by two. Now we have 247/168. To get this in decimal form, we just divide 247 by 168. To the nearest hundredth it is about 1.47 in².

Lets check our answer by converting the original numbers to decimals and see if we get the same answer.
1.58·1.86=2.94/2=1.47, which matches our answer above.

The answer is 1.47 in².

I hope this helps!

So 19/12 x 13/7 / 2
