hello!

(-5) cubed means you multiply 5 times 5 times 5:-

\boxed{(-5)*(-5)*(-5)}

A negative times a negative is a positive, and a positive times a negative is a negative:-

\boxed{25*(-5)}

Multiply:-

\bigstar{\boxed{\pmb{-125}}}

note:-

Hope everything is clear; if you need any explanation/clarification, kindly let me know, and I'll comment and/or edit my answer :)

You could rewrite this expression as (-1)^3*5^3.

Note that (-1)^3 = -1 and that 5^3 = 5*5*5 = 125.

So the answer is -125.
