Justitification:

1) Property:


a^((1/b)) = \sqrt[b]{a}


Therefore:


16^(1/4)= \sqrt[4]{16}

2) 16 = 2⁴

3) Property


\sqrt[n]{a^n} =a^(n/n)=a

Therefore:


\sqrt[4]{2^4} =2^(4/4)=2
