A student who correctly answered 60 questions a test received a score of 75%. How many questions were on the test?

We can use the cross multiply divide method to easily solve this.

60 x
---- = ----
75 100
From this we can form the equation (60*100)/75 = x where x will be the number of questions on the test.
(60*100)/75 = x6000/75 = x80 = x
So there are 80 questions total on the test.

80 questions were on the test since 60/80 equals to .75 which is 75%
