Some beliefs of the Transcendentalists were:
- Accepting ideas not as religious beliefs but as a way of understanding life relation
-Putting the individual at the center of the universe and promoting respect for humans-Religion and the government are corrupt
-they believed that each person could have an intuitive spiritual experience that was divine.
