The purpose of the graphics in the scientific articles is of practical nature. The graphics allow people to see things much quicker and to have the approximate evaluation of the certain thing. When you see the graphics they immediately give you a basic representation of certain numbers, percentages, pictures, evaluations, without having to use math or read too much to get the point of the basic picture.

Graphics are used to highlight and clarify data and results in scientific articles. Good graphics allow readers to comprehend the text better. Creators of scientific articles use graphics to convey comparisons, trends, and relationship more clearly. Graphics are also used to summarize data for better presentation.
