FIRST QUESTION
The range is equal to the value of y or the value of f(x).
f(x) = (1/4)ˣ
the value of f(x) will always be positive. Because any positive numbers (1/4) is squared by any numbers (x) will produce f(x) a positive number too. Therefore f(x) > 0, in other word y > 0
ANSWER: FIRST OPTION

SECOND QUESTION
Find the value of b by substitutiong the value of x and the value of f(x)
f(x) = bˣ
9 = b¹
9 = b
The value of b is 9, therefore the function will be f(x) = 9ˣ

Find the value of f(x) when x = 7
f(x) = 9ˣ
f(x) = 9⁷
f(x) = 4,782,969
ANSWER: FIRST OPTION
