Simplify completely the quantity

4 times x to the third power plus 5 times x to the 2nd power plus 3 times x all over x.

4x2 + 5x + 3
the quantity 4 times x to the 2nd power plus 5 times x plus 3 all over x
4x2 + 5x2 + 3x
4x4 + 5x3 + 3x2

I think this is what you're talking about...
(4 x^(3)+5 x^(2) +3x )/(x) and if that's the case, the easiest way to do this is to split the numerator up into its 3 separate expressions and put each one over x and reduce each one individually. It would look like this:
(4 x^(3) )/(x)+ (5 x^(2) )/(x)+ (3x)/(x). Then simplify the x's by reducing. The first expression reduces to
4 x^(2), the second one to 5x, and the last to 3. So your answer is
4 x^(2) +5x+3
