Hello there, to help right of the bat. I know B is not the right answer. But after reading i belive that A is the correct answer choice because Churchhill is basically saying that during WW2, the British and the French saved Belgium, but only after it was attacked. Churchhill is saying that if they would not have been neutral they could have saved Poland from Axis attacks. So i belive that the answer is A

Answer:

A. “French and British Armies might well at the outset have saved not only Belgium but perhaps even Poland.”

Step-by-step explanation:

Winston Churchill was a military statesman and British writer. He was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during World War II.

Churchill emphasized in his memoirs of World War I that engaging neutral countries in hostilities with the enemy was a crucial part of the war: According to him there are many types of maneuvers in war, some of which occur only on the battlefield. ally to the field is as useful as winning a great battle. To support this argument Churchil stated that the "French and British armies could have saved not only Belgium but perhaps even Poland. "
