There are 2 triangular shapes. I arbitrarily choose 6 to be the altitude and 8 to be the base. Then the total area of the 2 triangular shapes (ends) is

A1 = (1/2)(6)(8) = 24 square units.

There are 3 add'l areas, with dimensions (5)(8), (6)(5) and (5)(10).
The total of these 3 areas is 40 + 30 + 50 = 120 (square units)

The total surface area is then (24+120) square units, or 144 square units.
