Area of trapezoid = 1/2(b1+b2)h
b1 and b2 are top and bottom bases
so b1 = 15.8 and b2 = 21.8

h is height so h = 11.7
so
A = 1/2(15.8 + 21.8)(11.7)
A = 1/2(37.6)(11.7)
A = 219.96

answer
D. 219.96 yd^2

Answer is 219.96 yd^2
A = 15.8
B = 21.8
H = 11.7

The area of a Trapezoid 1/2(b1 + b2)h

b1 = 15.8
b2 = 21.8
h = 11.7

Plug the numbers in the formula to get
a = 1/2(15.8 + 21.8)(11.7)
a = 1/2(344.44)(11.7)
a = 219.96 yard^2

Your answer would be choice (C)…..219.96 yard^2

Hope that helps!!!!
