when mass = density * volume

and we here have the density of acetone= 0.7857 g /Cm^3

and the volume = 28.66 mL

so by substitution:

the mass of the acetone = 0.7857g *28.66

= 22.5 g

Answer is: mass of acetone is 22.51 grams.:
V(acetone - C₃H₆O) = 28.66 mL; volume.
d(acetone) = 0.7857 g/mL; density.
m(acetone) = V(acetone) · d(acetone).
m(acetone) = 28.66 mL · 0.7857 g/mL.
m(acetone) = 22.51 g; mass.
Acetone or propanone is the colorless, volatile, flammable organic compound (ketone).
