A)
rate of change from A to B = 48-0 / 1-0 = 48/1 = 48 ( feet per second)

rate of change from B to C = 64 -48 / 2-1 = 16 /1 = 16 ( feet per second)

B) the rate from A to B is greater. This tells me gravity starting acting on the rocket and started slowing it down
