The ratio of students is 4:5, with 4 students out of every 9 wearing colors and 5 not. Use this ratio to solve: how many students out of 450 are wearing the colors? First divide by 9 to get 50, then multiply by 4. The answer is 200.

So, here's the ratio:
4:5 (I got 5 because 9 - 4 =5)
We can add variables to these and make an equation:
9n = 450
n = 450/9
n = 50
50*4 = 200
200 students will wear school colors.
