√(50)=√(25\cdot2)=√(25)\cdot\sqrt2=5\sqrt2\ -\ CORRECT

1 < \sqrt2 < 2\ \text{because}\ 1^2=1 < 2 < 2^2=4

1.41^2=1.9881\\\\1.42^2=2.0164\\\\1.9881\ \text{is closer to 2}\\\\\text{therefore}\\\\√(50)=5\sqrt2\approx5\cdot1.41=7.05\approx7.1
