Uss addition or substitution to find the value of 'x' for this set of equations

y=x-2
7y-4x=10

If y=x-2 we can write
7(x-2)-4x=10
so:
14x-14-4x=10
14x-4x=10+14
10x=24
x=24/10
x=12/5
