a. Slope of the line = (-2 - 2) / (3 - 6) = -4 / -3 = 4/3

the equation required is y - 2 = 4/3(x - 6)

b. convert this to standard form:-

y - 2 = 4/3(x - 6) Multiply through by 3:-
3y - 6 = 4(x - 6)
3y - 6 = 4x - 24

4x - 3y = 18 is the answer
