Answer: y = -4x + 1

Explanation:

4x + 2y = 2, (subtract 4x from both sides of the equation)

2y = 2 - 4x, (divide 2 from both sides of the equation)

y = (2 - 4x)/2, into

y = 1 - 4x, (rearange into format if needed)

y = -4x + 1

Answer:

y = -2x + 1

Explanation:

You have to get "Y" by itself to me in format.

4x+2y=2 (move 4x to the other side)

2y=-4x+2 (now you have to divide by 2 because you need "Y" alone)

y=-2x+1
