Hey there!

Solve them by using

{a}^(2) + {b}^(2) = {c}^(2)

1.

{a}^(2) + {2}^(2) = {3}^(2) \\ {a}^(2) + 4 = 9 \\ {a}^(2) = 9 - 4 \\ {a}^(2) = 5 \\ a = √(5)

2.

{3}^(2) + {b}^(2) = {6}^(2) \\ 9 + {b}^(2) = 36 \\ {b}^(2) = 36 - 9 \\ {b}^(2) = 27 \\ b = √(9 * 3) \\ b = 3 √(3)

3.

{4}^(2) + {6}^(2) = {c}^(2) \\ 16 + 36 = {c}^(2) \\ {c}^(2) = 52 \\ c = √(13 * 4) \\ c = 2 √(13)

Hope this helps. - M

using formula

{c}^(2) = {a}^(2) + {b}^(2)
1)

{3}^(2) = {a}^(2) + {2}^(2) \\ a = \sqrt{ {3}^(2) - {2}^(2) } \\ a = √(5)
2)

{6}^(2) = {3}^(2) + {b}^(2) \\ b = \sqrt{ {6}^(2) - {3}^(2) } \\ b = √(27) \\ b = √(9) √(3) \\ b = 3 √(3)
3)

{c}^(2) = {4}^(2) + {6}^(2) \\ c = \sqrt{ {4}^(2) + {6}^(2) } \\ c = √(52) \\ c = √(4) √(13) \\ c = 2 √(13)
