you do x1-y1 and x2-y2 (2-12=-10) and ( 3—1=4) and get -10/4 which converts to -5/2

Answer:

\huge \boxed {slope = - 3}

Explanation:

m = (rise)/(run)

The slope is the change of y over the change of x.

m = (12 - 3)/( - 1 - 2) \\ m = (9)/( - 3) \\ m = - (9)/(3) \\ m = - 3

Therefore, the slope is -3.
