Hal’s sporting Goods had a 1 day sale. The original price of a mountain bike we 325. In a sale it was 276.25. What is the percent decrease for this sale?

Decrease = 325 - 276.25 = $48.75

Percentage decrease = 48.75/325 x 100 = 15%

Answer: 15%

Well, the decrease of the amount would be $48.75 then you would divide this by how the original price which is $325, so the answer would be about 6% decrease.
