I believe the answer is: shaping by successive approximations.

Successive approximations refers to a form of behavioral technique in which the subjects would be rewarded every-time they succeed in performing a desired behavior. Overtime, the subjects would associate the desired behavior with good outcome and would unconsciously driven to do it.
