In your opinion, is "avoiding" an effective conflict management strategy? Why or why not? (Site 1)

Avoiding may put off the conflict, but the conflict won't resolve itself on its own without either party taking action. Avoiding may also strain the relationship between the two parties, as they may feel ignored or that the other party doesn't care enough about the conflict. In the end, avoiding is not an effective conflict management strategy.
