Answer:

8

Explanation:

The base of the triangle is 7+h

The area is 60

Height is h

Area of a triangle = 1/2 ×base×height

60= 1/2 × (7+h)h

60= 1/2 × 7h + h^2

120= 7h + h^2

h^2 + 7h-120= 0

(h-8)(h+15)= 0

h-8=0

h+15=0

h= 0+8= 8, h= 0-15= -15

Hence the height of the triangle is 8
