x(t)=3t
y(t)=4t^2+1

Time (seconds):

Where is the ship after 10 seconds?
t=10→Position: Point: P=(x(t), y(t))=(x(10), y(10))=?

t=10→x(10)=3(10)→x(10)=30
t=10→y(10)=4(10)^2+1=4(100)+1=400+1→y(10)=401

Position: P=(x(10), y(10))=(30, 401)

Answer: Option C.) (30, 401)
