The main factors affecting the strength of gravitational forces between two objects ate mass and distance. The greater the mass between two objects the greater the force of gravity between them. For instance, if the mass of any of the two objects is tripled the force of gravity between them is tripled. Moreover as the distsnce between two objects increases the force of gravity between them decreases.
