This is better known as the greatest common factor.

The GCF of 48, 60, 72, and 100 is...

48: 2*2*2*2*3

60: 2*2*3*5

72: 2*2*2*3*3

100: 2*2*5*5

All the number share two twos which is 4.

answer: 4
