Use Rise/Run and "b" is just the y intercept, which is the point where the line intersects the y-axis, in this case b=2. Hope this helped.

Answer: The slope is 3.

Step-by-step explanation: The line crosses the grid at (-1,-1), (0,2) and (1,5)

Subtract the y-values to find the rise. 5-2=3 . 2-(-1)=3

The rise is 3.

Subtract the x-values to find the run. 1-0=1 0-(-1)=1

The run is 1

rise/run is the slope

3/1 is the slope.

We usually leave out the denominator if it is 1.
