\text{To find slope, you would use this equation:}\\\\(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)\\\\\text{Plug in the coordinates to its right spot}\\\\(2-5)/(6+6)\\\\\text{Solve:}\\\\(2-5)/(6+6)\\\\(-3)/(12)\\\\\text{Simplify:}\\\\(-3)/(12)\\\\\boxed{(-1)/(4)}

Answer:

If you want a fraction it would be -1/4 if you want a decimal it would be -0.25

Explanation:

You have to take your X2- your X1 and you take your Y2- your Y1

Then you divide Y/X

So Your X2 would be 6 and X1 would be -6 and that would become a positive 12.

And your Y2 would be 2 and your Y1 would be 5 which would give you -3 when you subtract.

Then divide it 12/-3 which would give you -1/4 since you have to flip your fraction.

I hope this helps
