Answer:
Option (C)= behavioral and option (D)= cognitive theories.
Step-by-step explanation:
The term "depression'' is a feeling of severe dejection. The two theory I am going to pick and discuss are the Behavioral theory and the Cognitive theory.
Starting with the COGNITIVE THEORY. Cognitive theory was actually developed because of the failure of Behavioral theory. Cognitive theory was developed to address mental events, for example, feeling and thinking. Cognitive theory is said to be "cognitive'' because people with DEPRESSION think differently than people who are not depressed. And, because of this thoughts in their mind ,it allows depressed people to remain feeling hopeless about a subject matter even when their are evidence(s) that shows that things will change for good.
The BEHAVIORAL THEORY tends to discuss and explain human behavior through the analysis of antecedents coupled with the consequences in the depressed's interactions with his or her surroundings. Behavioral theory tend to explain that our responses to environmental stimuli shape our actions.
