The missing value in the solution to the equation is 1.2 Thus solution is (3, 1.2)

Solution:

Given equation is:

y = 4x - 9y

Given solution is (3, ?)

We have to complete the missing value in solution to the equation, Which means we have to find value of "y"

Let us substitute the given solution into equation and solve for "y"

Substitute (x, y) = (3, y) in given equation

y = 4(3) - 9y

y + 9y = 12

On combining like terms we get,

10y = 12

y = (12)/(10) = 1.2

y = 1.2

So the missing value in solution is 1.2
