The formula to calculate the midpoint between two points is equal to


M((x1+x2)/(2),(y1+y2)/(2))

In this problem we have that


point\ Q(x1,y1)\\point\ A(x2,y2)


(-2,10)=((x1+12)/(2),(y1+6)/(2))

so


(x1+12)/(2)=-2 --->
x1=-4-12=-16


(y1+6)/(2)=10 --->
y1=20-6=14

therefore

The coordinates of point Q are (-16,14)
