The following are some features of the Harding-Coolidge Agenda:
The United States would put limits on its own involvement in international affairs.
It would keep itself
aloof from permanent alliances.
The US would take all the necessary steps to maintain peace within its territory. Even if it means
denying military
help to other nations.
If any
international agreement is to be made
, it would be done on the grounds of established laws, not on the basis of
military power
.
These features were proposed to clearly
isolate the United States from the rest of the world
and its problems.
