y - 34 = x(x -12)
For starters, distribute the 'x' into the parentheses:
y - 34 = x^2 - 12x
Add 34 to both sides:
y = x^2 -12x + 34
Factor:
y = (x - 6)^2 - 2
Option D
-T.B.
