(It was missing quotation marks at the start of the sentence. The "T" in 'think' was also not capitalized. There should also be a period at the end of the sentence.)

This is why i think the answer is B. The spelling error is in the word "trouble" where it is missing an 'R'. However this is the start of the question, which then makes it sound as if it is referring to the following sentence. In which, there are no statistics, and although checking up on quotes accuracy is important, that is not the thing that would kill this in an essay.
