Explanation:

5 - 8y ≥ 11 -6y There isn't anything to distribute

So bring the variable to one side of the inequality

In this case add 6 to both side

5 -2y ≥ 11

now subtract 5 in both side

-2y ≥ 6

now you have to divide by -2 so you have have to flip the sign since you are dividing by a negative number

y≤-3
