Lily is working two summer jobs, making $18 per hour lifeguarding and making $10 per hour washing cars. In a given week, she can work no more than 19 total hours and must earn a minimum of $270. If Lily worked 14 hours lifeguarding, determine all possible values for the number of whole hours washing cars that she must work to meet her requirements. Now according to given data

Life guard job = $18/hr

Now she worked for 14 hours

Total earning for life guard job = $252

Remaining money to earn = 270 -252

= $18

Now she makes $10 for car washing, so if she works for at least two hours she can meet her requirements.

Now remaining hours she is allowed to work are = 19-14 = 15 hours

So she can work fro 2,3,4,5 hours to meet her requirements.
