we know that Ruchi spent 60, and Sindhu spent 210.

so there ending amounts would be:

Ruchi: r - 60

Sindhu: 2r - 210

since they ended up with the same amount we can set them equal to each other and solve for r.

r - 60 = 2r - 210

150 = r

so Ruchi had 150 and Sindhu had 300.
