Find the y-intercept(b) using slope-intercept form:

y= mx+b

Plug the slope which is 1/2 and also plug x and y values.

5= 1/2x+b

5= 1/2(2)+b

5= 1+b

-1 -1

4= b

This is what it looks like in slope-intercept form:

y= 1/2x+4

Answer:

y=1/2x+5

Explanation:

The formula is y=mx+b.

m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept.

1/2 is the slope, and 5 is the y-intercept.

y=1/2x+5.

-hope it helps
