Answer:

The x-value is -1

The y-value is -1

Explanation:

Given:

y = 4x + 3 ................{equatiion ( 1 )}

x + y = -2 ................{equatiion ( 2 )}

To Find:

x = ?

y = ?

Solution:

y = 4x + 3 ................{equation( 1 )}\\x + y =-2 ................{equation( 2 )}

substituting y value in equation ( 2 ) we get

x+4x+3=-2\\5x=-2-3\\x=(-5)/(5)\\ x=-1

substituting x value in equation ( 2 ) we get

-1+y=-2\\y=-2+1\\y=-1\\

The x-value is -1

The y-value is -1

The Graph is attached with the solution A ( -1,-1)
