So we divide by 4 in both sides to remove 4 to get the value of x

So,now solve it

Put the x in place to check the answer

2-by transposing method

4x=8

In this method we transpose the 4 to RHS and in RHS the number in multiply changes in divide

so this is written as

x=8/4

Now solve it

x=2

Now check

4×2=8
