(2x - 13)° + (7x - 68)° = 180° (linear pair angles add up to 180°)

Solve for x

2x - 13 + 7x - 68 = 180

Add like terms

9x - 81 = 180

Add 81 to both sides

9x = 180 + 81

9x = 261

Divide both sides by 9

x = 261/9

x = 29
