There are 38 students on each bus

Solution:

Given that,

Total number of students went to trip = 253

Number of buses filled = 6

Number of students traveled in car = 25

To find : Number of students in each bus

Total number of students = students traveled by buses + students traveled by cars.

253 students = number of buses
* number of students per bus + 25 students

253 – 25 = 6
* number of students per bus

6
* number of students per bus = 228

Number of students per bus =
(228)/(6) = 38

Hence, there are 38 students in each bus
